The College Library is an integral part of an academic system whose primary function is not only to serve students, researchers, faculty and staff but also to create a conductive environment for education, research and innovation. This knowledge centre established in 1993 with 19 books, now it has rich collection of information resources with excellence facilities. At present the library hold above 20396 volumes with 11735 titles and 69 journals and magazines.
The well furnished College Library situated on first floor in separate building known as Library Resource Centre. The Library has established conductive atmosphere with good ventilation for it’s users. The facility of Network Resource Centre is made available in the library for the users.
The College Library established in 1993 with 19 books. Now today, it’s collection are 20236 printed book with 11735 titles, 69 journals and magazines, 16 news paper and also we have160 Research projects and 160 Educational CD’s in library.
In this Library Infrastructure with 13 computer, 01 Multifunctional printer and Scanner and 01Reprographic machine.
The library has membership of the NLIST program of INFLIBNET Centre. With the help of this, the users access 6000+ journals and 31,35,000+ book in e form on any time 24×7. All the teachers are registered with the National Digital Library (NDL) an ambitious collaborative project of MHRD and IIT Kharagpur. These opportunities to access an unlimited numbers of books on any subject.
Information Centre is constituted along with the library services. The Library is automated and digitalized from 2019 with CLOUD BASED LIBRARY MANAGEMENT SOFTWAR (LIB-MAN) Version 2.0. Library software is available for various library functions at partially automation nature level. Software provide modules are like, Acquisition and Cataloging, Circulation, MIS report, OPAC, Mobile Apps etc.
Various sections in library like Reference, Circulation, OPAC, Journal and Magazine section, keeping the belongings of students section, Reading Room, Bound volume of periodical, stock area.
Facilities of libraries are e-library with 10 computers, Wi-Fi facility, Internet, Online Open Access Catalogue, mobile app, Students Reading Room with the capacity of 100+, Staff Reading Room 10+, Research and Learning Section 10+ seating capacity. Users are regularly use the library. These averages of per day 57 users are visited to library. Rich reference collection, with healthy atmosphere The Library is under surveillance of three CCTV cameras.
The College Library extremely knowledgeable such as special reports, encyclopedias, various dictionaries, atlas, gazetteers, yearbooks, bibliographies, biographies, directories, map, geographical resources and other rich and standard collection of reference books. Other general books of various subjects like competitive exams, novels, literature, poems, competitive exam information and study etc. are rich collection.
The Library done various activities for motivated to the user for using the library like, orientation program for new users, regular book display on the various occasions, book review activities, video program, organized competition
Library becomes a source of knowledge for it’s users to enrich educational achievements. It provides traditional and innovative library services to the right user at the right time and also focus on the collecting, preserving and distributing the knowledge for teaching, learning and research. To encourage the researchers for pursuing their research towards the need of society.

Library will remain open for all the user from 9am to 4 pm on all the working days.
Students are required to show their ID cards while entering the Library, while borrowing books and at any time when requested by the Library Staff.
Students are requested to leave their bags, handbags and personnel belongings etc. on the racks kept inside Property Counter at the library gate. Do not bring & keep any valuables as the library will not be responsible for them.
Books and journal must be returned on before the due date
Each student will be permitted to borrow books for a period of 7 days.
Each Faculty and Staff will be permitted books for a session.
The books are to be returned on the due dates, failing which the student and staff will be required to remit a fine Rs. 1/- per book per day beyond the due date.
Renewals are allowed only when there is no claim by others.
Reference Books, Journals/Magazines and CD/DVD’s will be issue for only reading room.
Any document taken out of the library should be sown to the Library staff, before being taken out.
Absence and illness are not acceptable excuses for the exemption from paying overdue charges.
Books marked or written with ink or pencil, torn/pages taken out or defilement in any other form will be taken seriously and the borrower will be penalized. He/She will be required to either replace the book with Rs. 100/- towards Technical Processing Fee or pay treble the cost of the book.
Books lost by the borrowers will have to be reported immediately in writing to the librarian, failing which, fines will keep on accumulating, replace the book within week (7days)
Refreshments or foodstuff of any kind will not be allowed inside the library.
The librarian has the authority to recall a book at any time before its due date.
All library members are expected to read the notice board for library timings and other facilities
Mobile phones can use on silent mode in the library anybody found loudly using them will be penalized and the handset will be confiscated.
All the students are required to strictly adhere to the above regulations and cooperate with the library staff for smooth and efficient functioning of the library.
