The Department of Computer Science came into existence with the introduction of Computer
Science as one of the optional subjects at B.Sc. level in 1993-94.
Three year BCA course was started during the session 2010-11. Research Degree Programme
leading to Ph.D. (Computer Science) was introduced in the session 2014-2015.

Deartement has started M.Sc (Computer Science) From 2021
Three separate computer laboratories for UG and PG courses.
The department also facilitates the Lab and the teaching staff to run the courses like B.Com.
(Computer Appl.), M.C.M.
During the session the department always busy with full hectic schedule as all the
courses we are running in our dept. viz. B.Sc., BCA, MCM, BCCA, PGDCCA are of semester
pattern. The session has been long-drawn-out schedule full of Regular practicals, Assignments,
University Practical Exams etc.
But, still tried our level best to follow some extra-curricular activities. The Academic
Calendar we have prepared for tentative events to be organized by our department. The
Academic calendar involves the extracurricular activities like

•  Induction Program for Fresher’s.
• Guest Lectures by Eminent Personalities in computer Sc.
•  Alumni Interaction for future prospects.
• Workshops for Hand-on Training of Software and Hardware.
•  Study Tour
